Man City's Champions League Draw: Reaction

Well…there we are, the moment the footballing world has collectively waited for since the first whistle blew in Europe this August: and the moment has not particularly been one to cherish for Manchester City. Although the Blues should have the utmost confidence in their ability to get all three points against any team in the tournament, I couldn’t help but brace myself for the Champions League when City were drawn with old friends CSKA Moscow and FC Bayern Munich (who are, might I add, arguably one of the best sides in the world), as well as Pot 4 stars AS Roma, whom found themselves the team-to-avoid-at-all-costs within a pot filled by the likes of Maribor and Ludogorets (who I’d genuinely never heard of before last night – my grasp of the Bulgarian league isn’t what it once was apparently).

Let’s take a look at the sides Manuel Pellegrini’s side will be lining up against this year:
