Every soccer player has aspired to play in the World Cup since they were young. The opportunity to represent their country on the biggest sporting event in the world is the highest achievement in a player’s career. Yet for those who are selected into their nation’s World Cup squad at a young age, the tournament could serve as a vehicle to move up to bigger European clubs.

The World Cup not only draws the attention of more than a billion fans, but also scouts who may have missed out on several diamonds in the rough. For every young player who wants to get noticed by the likes of Liverpool or Barcelona, the task at hand is simple. If they can play in the biggest tournament in the world, they can play for the biggest clubs.

Today, Drew and I will uncover the best young stars in group G.
